Electrolytic metal precipitation

The surface of the work piece is finished using electrolytic precipitation of a designated metal, e.g. chrome. Plating procedures are applied for decorative or functional surface treatments.

Chemical metal precipitation

Chemical nickel plating is a currentless procedure. In a bath, all the wettened surfaces of the work pieces are coated with a nickel-phosphorous layer using chemical metal precipitation – for example, this can be used on the inside of pipes.
